Boxy Tote (Featherweight Bag)
What better way to carry to class your vintage Singer Featherweight than in this handy tote? Constructed of multiple layers of foam-backed fabric, it provides plenty of cushy protection for whatever you keep in it. Lots of pockets inside and out will keep you organized wherever you roam.
We made ours with 60” home dec fabric so we were able to reduce fabric requirement to a single yard each for fabrics A and B and ½ yard of the accent fabric. How cute is this!?

| Requirements: | You will need to purchase the Boxy Tote Pattern with metal stays ahead of your class date so that you can cut out your fabrics and interfacings before you come to class. Cutting is required before you come to class if you can not cut on your own you might not be ready to sign up for this class. Fabrics and fusible bosal foam, fusible innerfacing, fusible fleece all cut and ready class.Bring leftover fabrics and interfacings in case you might need them.Bring a thread to match, a sewing machine capable of sewing through multiple thick layers of fabric, quarter inch foot, and rotary cutter and ruler. |
